Videx VC-HR straighten and cut machines for rebar, spring steel and hot-rolled wire are now available with a mechanism that allows utilizing the entire coil, thus allowing feeding a new coil in less than five minutes.
The new models feature an adjustable acceleration flying shear with no clutch. The ability to adjust the linear acceleration and speed of the flying shear eliminates slippage of the feed boxes on the wire during acceleration and during cut-off, which is important for high-tensile wires.
